Message from Chairman

Any endeavour begins with a thought in a person’s mind. If the thought has a potential, it brings in a surge of energy to plan; if the plan has the power to convince the like minded, a team gets formed, which develops a will to execute the plan; and if it starts functioning, more people will join to strengthen the endeavour. This is the virtuous circle of an organization. It does in no way mean that the endeavour is without challenges or obstacles. But the sacredness of the endeavour, and the sincerity and grit of the team takes the challenges and obstacles as opportunities to strengthen the bond amongst its members and to nurture the initial resolve to scale the peaks of achievement.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya at Hurda is one such endeavour, which originated in my mind when I visited the residential educational complex run by the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, at Narendrapur near Kolkata. A beginning of that dream was made in July 1977, at Hurda, a village near our Gulabpura unit. Though it was initially meant for the children of our Mills’ employees, it has come a long way in catering to the needs of not only the surrounding region, but of the students from many parts of Rajasthan. The dream of offering good education while making every student important and aspiring for excellent results and admissions of the students passing out, in the prime professional institutions or entry into Services through NDA and IMA is being achieved. The success of this endeavour encouraged us to start similar initiatives at 3 more locations, namely, Rishabhdev, Mandideep and Khargone. All the 4 schools under the umbrella of LNJB Group of Schools are providing an excellent environment for an all round development of the students, making their happiness the focus.
