Dance allows you to express a wide variety of emotions. To bring out the dancing talent of the students & parents, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized an online open Dance Competition. Students submitted enthralling entries in video form and gave a tough time to judges. Yathartha Kushwaha and Trisha Atre showed exemplary dance performance and won accolades.
VVV MARAL: Online Music Competition
Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. To recognize the singing talent of the students & parents, VVV Maral organized an online open Music Competition (Instrumental and Vocal) with thumping participation from all. The Parents, Ms. Tripti Gupta and Ms. Shalini Jain won 2nd and 3rd position in the vocal category.
Graphite School: Inter Class Competition
Various competitions were conducted online and 100% student participation was ascertained to change their mood and to do creative work through activities of art work from best out of waste, dancing, singing, awareness speech, slogans, poster making bookmark competition and created their own creative pieces and showed their art pieces. Through their activity they spread awareness of social distancing, wearing masks, using sanitizers, not moving out of the house, washing hands often, eating nutritious food to boost immunity etc.
VVV MARAL: Patriotic Song Competition
VVVians have added a new feather by winning second prize with their excellent presentation in Inter School Patriotic Song Competition organized by Nimar Sahodaya Group of CBSE schools which was held in Kawartara School at Mandleshwar. Each student of the group was awarded with a certificate and trophy for the school.
VVV MARAL: Online Poster Making
A poster making competition was organized by Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral School on April 19, 2020 for Sr. Group (IX-XII) based on the theme – ‘Living with Nature' to show our deep gratitude towards beautiful nature. The main objective of the event was to give an opportunity to our budding talents to explore their hidden skills. The students showed their abilities through art where in they expressed their feelings in the form of quotations, paintings, sketches etc.
VKV-Hurda: Cultural Week
In the nursery section, a Cultural Week was celebrated from 28th February to 7th March, 2020. Various activities were organized like Storytelling, Action Songs, Dance and Fancy dress competition. In Fancy dress students costumed in various dresses and themes like - patriotic leaders, vendors save the environment, reuse and recycle, refuse the plastic etc.
VKV Hurda: Painting Competition
An Inter-Class Painting Competition was conducted on 24th August 2019 inside the school premises. The competition was conducted in two age groups i.e. Junior and Senior groups, in which 125 students from Class III to IX participated with full enthusiasm. The winners were awarded the trophies.
Inter School Folk Dance Competition
Inter-School Folk Dance Competition was taken place at Nobles School, Kherwara in the month of February. A total of 11 schools participated in the competition. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rishabhdev stood First in position and was rewarded champion’s shield & with a cash of Rs. 5000/-.
VVV Maral: Drawing Competition
Drawing Competition was organized by the German Embassy in the memory of 60 years of Indo-German Partnership at Emerald Heights School, Indore on 31st July 2019. In which, 3 R's of the environment- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle was expressed artistically by seven VVV Maral students.
VKV-Hurda: Art Integrated Maths Rangoli Competition
An Art Integrated Maths Rangoli Competition was organized on December 10th, 2018 for the students of VKV, Hurda under the guidance of Shri Ashok Jain. In this competition, 35 students of class X participated and made different kinds of drawing by using mathematics signs, angles, and terms. This learning approach was a unique concept for the students and enhances the skills and creativity in a student's mind through which he/she can understand things easier and faster.

VKV-Hurda: Sports Meet
Sports day for classes LKG to VIII was organised on 21st January’20 at the sprawling and decorated grounds of the school. The sports meet started with the races and the athletes participated with full energy. It was a delight to see the excitement with which the students challenged themselves to attempt a variety of events, such as 100/200 meters race, Lemon and Spoon race, Jalebi/Relay race, Long jump, Shot put throw etc.
VKV Hurda : National Level Selection in Basketball
Kartikey Agrawal of Class VIII and Monika Rathore of Class XII (Science) were selected for the National Basketball Tournament. “May hopes and dreams become reality for our students in the National level competitions,” said LNJ Babu.
VVV Maral : Nimar Sahodaya Football Championship
It was a day to imprint in golden letters as the students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar students stole the show by winning 3 championships of the four categories open for competition in CBSE inter school Nimar Sahodaya football championship. School teams became winners of U-14 Boys, U-14 Girls, and U-19 Girls categories. The winners were mentored by Jyoti Karma, Nilesh Gawadekar and expert trainer Mr Mohan Kuwar from Maral Overseas Ltd.
VVV Maral : Nimar Sahodaya Kabaddi Competition
Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral school girls won runner-up trophy in the Nimar Sahodaya Inter School Kabaddi competition, showing their best of leadership and team skills. During the Kabaddi matches our girls had shown admirable sportsman spirit and techniques to Claim the runner-up trophy in the tournament.
VVV-Maral Selection in Cricket Championship
Bringing laurels to the school, the two students of VVV Maral Sarovar School got selected for the 23rd Sub Junior National Tennis ball cricket championship organized by the Viddarbh Tennis Cricket Association under the aegis of Tennis ball Cricket Federation of India from 30th to 2nd November 2018 at Nagpur.
VVV-Maral:ISKO Karate Championship
In the 4th National ISKO Championship, held in Indore on 14th October 2018, students of VVV, Maral Sarovar School from class III to X participated and brilliantly won a total of 22 medals - 8 Gold, 4 Silver and 10 Bronze medals in various categories of the competition. Team Kata/Individual Kata and Kumite under the charge of Ms. Nisha Rathore and Ms. Jyoti Karma performed extremely well and won the medals.
Graphite School: 64th Divisional Ball Badminton Match
The 64th Divisional level ball badminton tournament for under-14, under-17 and 19 years was held at Model School, Bhopal wherein the students of Graphite School added a few more feathers to our cap! by excelling in the following events; Under 14 19 year boys – Bhopal won over Raisen, Under 14, 17 & 19-year girls – Raisen won over Bhopal and Under 17-year boys – Raisen won the match.
VKV-Hurda : Basket Ball Tournment
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda secured IInd position at the District Basketball Tournament for Girls (under-19) held at Noble School, Bhilwara. Four Girls- Monika Rathore, Avishi Shah, Nidhi Yadav, Pooja Gurjar of class XII standard have been selected for the State Basketball team which is yet another matter of pride for the school.
Rishabhdev : Open Chess Tournment
LNJ Bhilwara Group Open Chess Tournament took place in VKV, Rishabhdev on April 26-27, 2018 and was played in two formats. 40 players from four different schools participated in the Swiss format of 9 rounds. Out of them, the top 8 players were selected for Robin format. The top three positions of the event were decided by adding the score of both the formats. Kartik Bhandari of VKV, Rishabhdev, was the champion of the event. The second position was secured by Ayush of VKV, Hurda, and the third position was secured by Sankalp Lodha of VKV, Hurda.
Interschool Tournament of Sports & Culture
Interschool Tournament of Sports & Culture was held at AISECT UNIVERSITY in the first week of February 2018, around 24 schools, including Graphite School, in and around Bhopal took part in the Seventh Carnival of the University. Students displayed high spirits and bagged 1st prize in both boys and girls senior group in the Kho-Kho competition. In the cultural round, students won the 2nd prize in the dance competition.
Interschool Chess Championship
The Chess Championship took place on 19th and 20th January 2018 in the premises of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya. Master Kartik Bhandari from VKV, Rishabhdev won the event by scoring 3.5 points out of 4 rounds. 2nd position was secured by Daksh Masar who scored 3 points and Master Sujal Jain held on to the 3rd position and scored 2.5 points. The team championship prize was won by VKV, Rishabhdev by scoring a total of 11 points.
Academics
The Graphite School: Virtual Education
At Graphite school, we are imparting virtual education on software’s like Zoom and Microsoft teams, hence increasing the level of understanding and analysing skills of the students. To focus on more practice based and activity based learning in mathematics, science and in other subjects art was integrated by making students to actively get engaged in some activities like making power-point presentation on some topics related to subject, virtual tours of Industries and specific places of worship, Garden etc. was also incorporated as a part of learning.
The Graphite School: Sanskrit Saptah Samaroh
A Sanskrit Saptah was celebrated in school where students got an opportunity to exhibit their talent in sukti-lekhan, Geeta recitation. A webinar was organised to make the students aware about various career opportunities in the field of Sanskrit. On this occasion, one online competition was also conducted by Ratna Sagar Publication house. Our students brought laurels in this competition and were felicitated with certificates of excellence.
VVV-Maral: Interschool Commerce Quiz
CBSE Nimar Sahodaya Inter School Commerce Quiz competition was organized with 22 teams competing to test commerce-related knowledge. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar students, Shivam Singh and Utkarsh Pandey of class XI, Monil Patidar and Yash Patidar of class XII performed very confidently and smartly under the guidance of Mr. Akshay Jain and secured second the position to become the runner up of this contest.
VVV-Maral: Science Deliberation competition
CBSE Nimar Sahodaya Inter-School Science deliberation competition was held in November 2018. Under the guidance of Mr Lokesh Patidar, the team won runner up trophy, only half point less than the first prize. The students presented a project on solar energy generation and its mechanism presented through model and PowerPoint presentation, and intelligently answered questions posed by the intellectual judges. The school team members Ansh Gupta, Ashutosh Kanungo, Bhumika Sisodiya, Ankit Mishra and Rohit Wakla of class XII were felicitated with certificates and a trophy.
Maral School : Results
Class XII CBSE results of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar, have been excellent! Prajwal Mishra achieved the first position with 91.4% in Science stream, scoring a perfect 100 in Physical Education and 95 in Physics. Pawitra Sharma scored 95 marks in Maths, Nikita Agrawal scored 94 in English and Samayak Jain secured 93 marks in Chemistry. A total of 82 students appeared for the exams, out of which 72 students (88%) achieved First Division.
Class X students also made the school proud with 100% results, with Abantika Das topping the list with 90.2%.
